I don't think you are a jerk. You, I think, are still hurting in some way. You cared about him, put your heart on the line and tore down your walls for him. That's a lot. You're not a jerk...and never let anyone tell you otherwise! You have just as much right to hurt and express your emotions just as anyone else does.
If he is worried because you are talking about it on the net, he shouldn't be. I doubt his clients read (no offence), and I doubt those who do read (including me) do not even have 2 clues who he is...
